Singer/Songwriter Kristie Stremel creates a read-along book to her new song “Love Makes A Family”. Stremel wrote the song for her son in an effort to explain the importance of family and to help celebrate diversity in families today.

Her childhood friend, Blue Haas, illustrated the book. Left only to interpret Kristie’s early demo and lyrics he noted, “I wanted to have a consistent style and keep it child-like, so the etch-a-sketch came to mind and that led to the idea of using one line. With one simple line we are all connected.”

Love Makes A Family (cd and book) is an audio and visual journey that explores the evolving family in today’s society. Kristie hopes it will be used as a resource to help children and families.
